A person sits on the plant-like chair, when he sits on it, another chair will go up a little bit. When another person comes and sits another chair, another chair will go up. if we see these chairs from a further perspective, it can be like a wave moving up and down. About the material of the chairs, we chose transparent materials used on the bottom of the chair, so from further distance to see these chairs, they will look like floating in the air and moving up and down.

When a person sits on the chair, the above tree-branch-like something will bend down towards the person sitting below it. So if more people sitting below this kind of tree-like something, more branches will bend down. If it is seen from above, it will be like a blooming flower. It should be beautiful.
About the bubble wrap, we set it on the nearby floor, so a person steps on one bubble, it will trigger another remote bubble in another waiting area in the same shopping mall. So one bubble is stepped on, another remote bubble will be lit up, and people play with it, and they trigger more bubble lit up back. Then the people from 2 waiting areas can play together in 2 different places.
Significance: social connection among people.
We designed the bubble wrap like this, because if people all sit on the chair, other people can't get in and sit , taking a rest. So the bubble wrap can attract people to play with them.
Another plan of arranging bubble wrap is to set them around their chairs in 360 degree. So people sit on the chair, they can step on the bubble wrap under their feet in 360 degree without standing up.

Interactive Kinetic Bubble Wrap:
Location: MTR station platform

The project aimed to occupy interaction between bubble wrap game and people who are staying at the MTR station for a little while, the following are the factors of people will interact with the bubble wrap game:
a. people who waiting for the train;
b. people who are curious on the bubble wrap
How it works:
when people walk by or stand up on the floor which is covered with bubble wrap, the bulbs hanging on the relevant area of the above ceiling will be waving up and down, the number of lighting bulbs will also change through the number of people who popping the bubble wrap.
The more people popping the bubble wrap, the faster the lights will wave up and down and the more bulbs will be lit up.
The bubble wrap can automatically re-configure itself after one train leaves.

a. Diverting people:
When passengers go down to MTR, they can easily see the waving lights on the ceiling to direct them to the waiting spot where has less people.
b. Time-killing:
It’s a natural way to release pressure and ease people’s anxiety and boredom.
c. Saving energy:
If the area is full of people, the light will be much brighter than the area that has less people, which is also an environmental-friendly way to save power by adjusting the number of lighting bulbs.
